Gene Deal, a key whistleblower in the Sean “Diddy” Combs sex trafficking scandal, has publicly accused the embattled mogul of murdering his former partner, Kim Porter.
In an explosive interview with The Art of Dialogue, Deal was asked to comment on a statement made by Al B. Sure!, Porter’s ex-husband, claiming that Porter’s death was connected to the alleged cover-up of Combs’ sex trafficking ring. Deal carefully stated that he would not share his belief that Combs killed Porter in an act of femicide.
“I don’t really want to say what I really believe cause what I really believe is that they might have gotten into a little spat, a little fight, or something went down, and Puff did that play fighting stuff that he always do–that pillow fighting stuff and probably smothered her but I wouldn’t say that on the air […] I’m never gonna say that he probably smothered her to death. I wouldn’t do that.”
Combs Facing Multiple Allegations of Non-Fatal Strangulation
Deal’s speculation aligns with a common outcome among violent men who use non-fatal strangulation to dominate the women. Several of the people who have accused Combs of sexual assault and revenge porn alleged that he used non-fatal strangulation to subdue them and cause them to fear for their lives.
Deal’s claim that Combs used so-called rough-and-tumble play with his intimate partners is corroborated by a video shared by 50 Cent of Cassie Ventura on the ground, hiding from Combs under a blanket.
Deal Supports Al B. Sure’s Call For An Investigation into Porter’s Death
Gene showed understanding and compassion for Al B. Sure!’s request for an investigation into Porter’s sudden death, explaining:
“Al B. Sure! doing this is showing that he’s still got love for Quincy’s mother. He still wants to find out the truth because allegedly Kim was fine the day before and the day of her death. Then she’s found dead in the bed from pneumonia. That just don’t sound right, bro. That don’t sound right at all.”
Deal is a former law enforcement officer and bodyguard, is a prominent figure in the ongoing investigation into the alleged crimes committed by Combs. He expressed skepticism about the findings of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office and pointed out numerous alleged irregularities surrounding Porter’s death.
Big Gene questioned the lack of an autopsy and the unusual circumstance of Combs hiring 24-hour surveillance of Porter’s body:
“The coroner come in and say, yo, she died of pneumonia but nobody did no autopsy or nothing like that. Get out of here! Have her funeral, put her in a gold casket. It takes, what, two months to get those gold caskets? Had it within a week […] Had a bodyguard at the funeral home, watching a dead body 24/7 up until the funeral.”
Combs Allegedly Used Coercive Control To Groom Kim Porter
Deal revealed the alleged abuse that occurred behind the façade of Porter’s relationship with Combs. Despite being outwardly showered with luxury, Porter was allegedly exploited and participated in Combs’ so-called “freak offs”. This behavior is typical of the intermittent reinforcement used by perpetrator’s of coercive control to subjugate their victims and groom them for abuse and exploitation.
“Kim was very spoiled. Puff, outside of the physical abuse, treated Kim like a queen. She didn’t have to work. She did little acting jobs, little commercials. She got everything she wanted. She lived on the West Side by Columbus Avenue. Nice apartment. Had a maid. Had a babysitter. He treated her like a queen on the outside. On the inside, she was subjected to doing all the nasty, all the freaky things with other people that he wanted her to do. But, I didn’t see no complaints so that’s how it was. She was very spoiled but it came with abuse.”
Deal is describing the hot and cold pattern of manipulation commonly seen in the cycle of narcissistic abuse.
Combs Addiction Allegedly A Consequence Of His Aggression
Gene Deal recalled an alleged instance of reactive abuse by Porter, who was desperately trying to protect herself from Combs’ aggression. Deal claims that Combs substance dependence began after he was seriously injured when Porter seriously injured him in an act of self-defense.
“It came with the abuse so bad that, like I said, she had to take a corkscrew and split his wrist open that led to his drug abuse. When she split his wrist open he had so much pain, he never got off those opioids. He never got off the drugs for his wrist.”
Deal discussed reports from other bodyguards who alleged that Combs had physically assaulted Porter, causing injuries such as a broken nose and black eye. He pointed out that multiple witnesses observed these acts of violence within their relationship, arguing that it defies common sense to believe there was no foul play involved in her death.
“I don’t think there’s anyone in America who doesn’t think there’s anything suspicious about Kim’s death. Kim has a net worth of $12 million or something like that. Kim could’ve called any doctor to come over and look at her. If she was that bad, she could have called an ambulance or something like that. Everything is suspicious about her death.”
Summary
While Deal’s fresh allegations against Diddy, he is pointing out an alleged on-going pattern of coercive control in Combs and Porter’s relationship. He also raises serious questions about the circumstances surrounding her sudden death.
It is chilling to think that Porter may be a casualty of the epidemic of Black femicide. One-third of these gender-based murders are perpetrated by intimate partners or family members, while 16% are committed by friends or acquaintances.
While Deal’s claims have not been officially proven, the evidence he has presented, including personal observations, testimonies from other body guards, and questionable circumstances surrounding Porter’s death, warrant further investigation to ensure justice is served.
