Sean “Diddy” Combs is an American rapper, music producer, entrepreneur, and cultural icon.

Born in Harlem, New York, on November 4, 1969, Diddy rose to fame in the 1990s as the founder of Bad Boy Records, launching the careers of artists like The Notorious B.I.G. and Mary J. Blige. He is known for his chart-topping hits like “I’ll Be Missing You” and his influence on popular music.

Beyond music, Diddy expanded into fashion with his Sean John clothing line, winning accolades like the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) award. He also ventured into business, with investments in brands like Cîroc Vodka, Twitter, and Revolt TV.

For years, Diddy has been doggiest by rumors of sexual misconduct and substance use disorder, In 2023, his former partner Cassie Ventura filed a sexual misconduct civil lawsuit against him. He settled the lawsuit within 24-hours. Numerous sexual misconduct lawsuits have ensued since then.

On September 16, 2024, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New York City announced that he was arrested by federal agents at the Park Hyatt Hotel. According to the Justice Department, Diddy was charged with a years-long scheme to sexually abuse and exploit women.
